New York at the dawn of the 1960s. It was the end of the reign for the mambo. In its permanent quest for new trends, the public succumbs to new sirens. Boogaloo exploded, a cross between rhythm and blues and Latin rhythms, sung in English and above all much easier to dance to. Latin soul made a bang bang on the dance floors and brought audiences together. The big bands, led by Machito, Tito Puente and Tito Rodríguez, were about to bow out, and with them the legendary dance hall Le Paladium. Afro-Cuban jazz is now Latin. A seasoned rhythm section that will undoubtedly set this Monday Jam Session on fire! Lukmil Perez, Lionel Gaget, Laurent Salzard and François Constantin.
The Monday Jam Sessions are THE unmissable and timeless rendez-vous where the masters of the genre meet the younger generation for musical jousts in a friendly atmosphere.
