Nicknamed "El rey del timbal", Tito Puente was a passionate dancer and musician. A percussionist, vibraphonist and king of the mambo, he made a major contribution to the spread of hot music, particularly in the United States. A prolific artist and a musical jack-of-all-trades, he experimented with all genres with great talent: Cha-cha-cha, Mambo, Latin Jazz, Pachanga, Boogaloo, Salsa... and bequeathed to the world of music some one hundred albums.

François Constantin, a renowned percussionist, is a salsa expert and surrounds himself with the best representatives of the style in Paris, those who form his "Salsa Project" with him!
