Greg Lamy & Flavio Boltro

Greg Lamy renews both his way of improvising and composing. He claims in this album a change of colors and sounds. His characteristic guitar playing is more modern than ever. With this album, Greg Lamy signs a new collaboration on stage with the Italian trumpeter Flavio Boltro. Flavio is one of the greatest Italian jazz musicians and the best European trumpeters of today. He was part of the National Jazz Orchestra before sharing the stage with Michel Petrucciani, Michel Portal, Eric Legnini, Stefano Di Battista ... "Observe the Silence" explores a musical and harmonic palette that releases the breath of the improvisation. This weightless space also manages to lead musicians and listeners to a state of contemplation.
