"Descarga" - Cuban All Star

In the spirit of the hot Havana sessions, the origin of Felipe Cabrera & Cuban Descargas stems from the desire of this generation of artists to give more visibility to the learned fusion that existed between Cuban music and American jazz of the 40´s to 60´s. If this music is known to the international and French initiated public, there is however in this meeting at the top a wind of novelty, transcultural freshness and solar swing. We couldn't have hoped for a better field to represent him. This project includes compositions by Felipe Cabrera, traditional songs by Benny More or Arsenio Rodriguez and many other mythical themes of Cuban heritage, transplanted in present-day Paris. The repertoire is part of the fusion between the traditional strengths of Cuban music for dancing and the influence of American jazz for dreaming. Aguà !!!
