The “speaking tango”, a committed musical and poetic movement, created by Minino Garay in the early 2000s.

"While recording my first album - Minino Garay and the Southern Drums - in 1999, I met poet Dana Bryant who recited her lyrics in the spoken word style, the roots of slam. This poetry out loud spoke a lot to me and naturally I created a style all my own. Incarnated since on stage as well as in my albums under the name of "speaking tango". The lyrics are very important in this musical style, it is a poetry committed and inscribed in the spirit of tango. This spirit is like a sad dance thought which embodies hope. And with my experience as a percussionist, I put these texts to music, influenced by jazz and the rhythm of tango ”, Minino Garay.

The Argentinian percussionist, present on the international jazz scene for more than 30 years, is surrounded for this concert of the cream of the musicians.
