Jazzoo
Marseille Jazz des cinq continents

JAZZOO is a poetic and multicolored universe, groovy and sparkling at will, where each animal is recognized by its musical identity. This would be the answer of Jazz, as is often the classic, the Carnival of the Animals of Saint-Saëns when it comes to pedagogy for children. This original and luminous concept of the brilliant Swedish quintet ODDJOB combines funny, moving and facetious miniature nursery rhymes, illustrated in a naive and tonic style by Ben Javens according to fabulous musicojazzoological finds. Musical awakening in the proper sense, all in music and without words, adapted to the youngest by its substance as by its form with as much creativity as virtuosity.
Prix de l'Académie Charles Cros 2015 with mention "Remarkable concept designed to introduce the youngest to Jazz".
ODDJOB is the perfect example of the vitality and excellence of today's Scandinavian scene. Their 10 albums have all received praise from the Swedish and international press. With the series "JAZZOO" Goran Kajfeš (Nordic Music Price 2011), visionary composer, scintillating trumpeter, bubbling conductor and his multi-award-winning quintet invents where we did not expect it, pedagogy for the youngest. They are a long-standing close-knit group whose creative flair comes with a lot of class. The talents of multi-instrumentalists of each member of OddJob allow a renewal of the musical color chart with each composition. Undoubtedly the most recognized Jazz band in Sweden.
