A young quintet from the CMDL, these musicians will present a repertoire put together for the occasion, focusing on the art of songwriting. From the Beatles to Duke Ellington, from Jobim to Chris Thile, from Joni Mitchell and Bon Dylan to the Red Hot Chili Peppers... All styles and eras combined, the group pays homage to the beautiful songs of history through varied tastes, eclectic sounds, intimate arrangements and irresistible grooves. A young Israeli pianist who arrived in France at the age of 7, Nina started playing classical piano at the age of 9. A refreshing, spontaneous and sunny pianist, Nina mixes jazz, pop, folk, songs and instrumental pieces, with a gentle emphasis on melodies.
"What makes me very happy with this residency is the fact that I can experiment a lot of different projects in situation, test ideas and formations that I have had in mind for a while (...) Also very happy to be able to finally play with the musician friends I met in Paris these last two years, from the CMDL or not, and looking forward to sharing good moments on this beautiful stage, in this iconic place! "
