Filomena Croce Trio

The Filomena Croce Trio is composed of three international musicians who have traveled the world for many years performing their music: Filomena Croce, italian singer and songwriter currently living in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Master of Music in Jazz & Pop Voice at ArtEZ Conservatorium Zwolle and who has sung, among others, with the Grammy Award Winning Metropole Orkest; Edmundo Carneiro, Brazilian percussionist whom has toured over 69 countries having the honor to work with legends like Baden Powell, Tania Mâria and Toots Thielemans, and is currently based in Paris; and Dutch guitarist Kees Gelderblom from The Hague, Conservatorium Professor at Codarts in Rotterdam who has lived in Brazil for over twenty years.

Believing in music without frontiers, together they will play the work of Brazilian guitarist Toquinho and Italian singer Ornella Vanoni included in the 1976 album "La voglia, la pazzia, l'incoscienza, l'allegria" in addition to great Brazilian Classics, to celebrate the encounter between Brazilian rhythms and songs with the melody of Italian lyrics and poetry.
