The compositions of pianist Jean-Philippe Bondy, inspired by Bill Evans and his heirs such as Enrico Pieranunzi, Richie Beirach or Michel Grailler, are interpreted peacefully, but always with an earthly anchor: the groove. The swing, always present, is served by the flexible and effective rhythm of Bao Lao and Philippe Monge. Philippe Lopes de Sa puts at the service of the melodic line, clear and omnipresent, his lyricism and his virtuosity.
