Four musicians from the Toulouse region coming from different musical horizons: jazz, swing or gypsy style, afrofunk, French song... have come together around the compositions of pianist Xavier FARO. The repertory which draws intuitively in multiple references: cinema for the wide shots, soul and jazz funk for the warm grooves, rock and electronic music for the freshness of the ideas. A music that deliberately remains close and accessible, that speaks of freedom and commitment and claims "the right to exist wherever we come from and wherever we go in the world... with a risk taking that sometimes builds our paths and gives meaning to our lives. This could also be another definition of jazz. We gladly believe it! Xavier FARO, piano, Alain ANGELI, sax, Francis CAMBOULIVE, double bass, Laurent MEYER, drums.
