Sugar Sugar :

A drum kit doped with amphetamines, that's how we could describe the device on which Sugar Sugar plays. This two-headed hydra creates live music full of strength and immediacy. The connection between the two musicians is perfect and the duo acts like a two-brained painter, one handling the brush, the other concocting his colors. The ambition of these ambiguous atmospheres: to touch us as much as to make us move. Sugar Sugar is an infernal machine, a technoid organ of barbarism whose appearances are to be watched closely. A time keeper in a garden of stamps.

Go to the Dogs & Dudù Kouaté :

This creation is first of all the story of a meeting between Dudù Kouaté and the quintet Go to the Dogs ! Dudù Kouaté talked about his musical culture, from traditional Senegalese music to the free jazz of the Art Ensemble of Chicago. The quintet shared with him their way of working, positioning themselves as a group above all, enjoying composing collectively even if it sometimes takes longer. From the beginning, the sound of the ensemble was a central element of the creation. In the middle of an unbridled collective improvisation, Dudù Kouaté started to chant a poem in English from a Senegalese tale, everyone naturally stepped back to give him room. Everyone immediately felt that something important was happening and that this creation had meaning. The simplicity of an encounter, a playground to discover...
