Every Sunday and Monday, la Rhumerie brings you together for a jazz evening that revives the tradition of St Germain des prés during the fifties, and offers a selection of rums and West Indian cuisine (surcharge + € 1 per order on concert days).

Tonight, Alex Swing Events presents baritone saxophonist Frank Basile! Valuable sideman (as the New Yorker calls him), he is a world famous jazzman. He is a member and arranger of the famous Vanguard Orchestra, and plays with orchestras such as the Count Basie Orchestra, the Dizzie Gillepsie All Stars, Jimmy Heath, Dave Holland, Christian McBride to name but a few. He is on tour in France in June 2022 with a solid team. Fabien Mary on trumpet, Laurent Marode on piano, Fabien Marcoz on double bass and Stéphane Chandelier on drums! A luxury orchestra for a concert not to be missed.
