Drummer, singer, guitarist, and songwriter, Jean-Baptiste Loutte likes to color by overflowing the lines. A true enthusiast of composition and arrangement, he began writing small pieces as a child. He is interested in traditional jazz as well as today's New York jazz, soul, flamenco, pop and classical music.
His residency #JazzDeDemain is a real laboratory of experimentation of the most varied projects, having all for red thread the inseparable trio that the drummer forms with Julian Leprince Caetano and Mathieu Scala. In turn, in quartet with Baptiste Herbin and Irving Acao, or in quintet with Jean-Baptiste's "Gemini" project in which he sings and plays drums, they choose to invite guitarist Gustave Reichert and saxophonist Illyes Ferfera to the Baiser Salé on January 17. That night, the magic happens: a real quintet is born. The connection between the members of the group was obvious and the energy flowed throughout the concert, on stage and in the audience. The three voices: those of Jean- Baptiste, Julian, and Gustave, melt into a balanced timbre and bring a new dimension to the compositions, each one expressing his musicalitý in the greatest freedom.
These five "cats" long-time friends present tonight "Cats in the blue house", in homage to the blue house where they regularly meet. They play and sing the compositions of each member of the group and obviously fall back on their paws after attemptinǵ the craziest of musical stunts.
Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain slot has given birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experiment on stage, to hone a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and promising niche where creativity and emulsion have no limits. #BeCurious!
