Philomène Irawaddy is a singer with a bold and dreamy touch. She always favours melody: from classic standards to more recent compositions on which she likes to put her own words (Chick Corea, Charles Mingus, Wayne Shorter or Thelonious Monk). She has worked with many musicians including Alain Jean-Marie, Pierre de Bethmann and Giovanni Ceccarelli... A multi-faceted artist, she occasionally performs baroque music or Spanish melodies, and also composes for a young audience.
