"Devilishly clever and playing with the codes too. A music that doesn't try to please at all costs but that seduces all the same because it is brilliant but not flashy."

Thomas Julienne is an eclectic and singular musician. Above all a double bass player, he distinguishes himself as a composer and arranger. He practices an open and differentiated pedagogy.

Theorem of Joy is a dreamlike and impressionistic project, where North African sounds, post-rock trips, jazz liberties, sweet flavors of pop... It takes you running in Miyazaki's imaginary world, rearing up on a Palestinian shore, sliding on a thread stretched between two destinies, meditating on the sound of an Indian raga, exorcising your inner demons...

Vocal strings, violin strings, double bass, guitar, rope stretched over the cliff, sensitive rope, tight rope, body and soul... Between singular melodies and unbridled improvisations, Theorem of Joy, led by its leader, the double bass player Thomas Julienne, clears new paths, and shows that the recipe for happiness is not at all where you would expect it...
