The singer Mélanie Dahan has released 4 albums. Her singularity since her very first album is to honour the French language, which she blithely mixes with jazz and instinctively handles with delight. The sensitive pianist Antoine Delaunay invites Mélanie to take part in a new project on her favourite playground: revisited French songs. From Léo Ferré to Brassens, via Fugain, Julien Clerc or Maurane, the pretty melodies of yesterday and today take on the appearance of modern jazz standards with the quintet's arrangements.
A record is planned for 2023, and a few unreleased tracks will be previewed at l'Entrepôt.
