Each composition is an invitation to dance, each melody a song. A whole repertoire in homage to the past, to the present and which draws what the future can have of more enthralling.
Pianist and improviser-composer, Julien Coriatt's childhood in Guadeloupe was marked by jazz, baroque and classical music as well as popular music from the West Indies. Since then, he has never stopped going back to his roots, refining his choices and above all trying to quench his thirst for knowledge.
