Akinroots

Made of ardor and passion, laughter and sharing, flesh and sound, Akinroots is the fruit of a multicultural encounter between an English piano, an Ivorian bass and Norman drumsticks. Coming from the Conservatories of Rouen and Grand-Couronne, then students at the Centre Des Musiques Didier Lockwood, the group returns for the third time to the Baiser Salé, with a growing reputation (winners of the springboard Phénix Normandie 2021, Jury and Public Prize at the springboard Jazz in Oloron 2022). From this powerful union is born a homogeneous mix between jazz fusion, afrobeat, soul or electro, forming a unique musical universe to discover!
