Nina Gat / Tiss Rodriguez / Laure Sanchez

Ahmad Jamal, an influential and internationally acclaimed pianist, has made many landmark live recordings. Wanting to pay tribute to his works, Nina Gat, Tiss Rodriguez and Laure Sanchez present a program featuring the most beautiful arrangements of his live performances at the Pershing, the Spotlite Club...Known for his singular, precise and minimalist playing, this giant of jazz is definitely a strong inspiration and influence for the new generation.  

Meeting during their common studies at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood, Nina and Laure start playing together in 2019, as much in traditional acoustic jazz format as in electric and modern. Tiss Rodriguez, a drummer with a powerful playing style tinged with jazz, electro and modern music sounds, carries a great love for swing.  

These three talented musicians decided to form this unique trio for a colorful evening!
