Accompanied by Thierry Fanfant on bass, Bago Balthazar on percussion and Jean-Philippe Fanfant on drums, Mario Canonge appropriates the canons of Christmas in the West Indies, halfway between jazz and the Chanté Nwel tradition. By turns intimate, joyful or collected, the quartet is always right and delivers one of the most beautiful interpretations of these known and recognized tunes.
