Marion Rampal

Singer Marion Rampal and pianist Pierre-François Blanchard have been developing since their meeting a common language of interpretation that challenges established codes. They are constantly seeking a poetic and sonic link that transcends styles, to expose the expressive heart of the songs in delightful drifts.

Their project Le Secret crosses the French Melody, approaches a dark hymn of the New Wave, a tragi-comic playlet of Brigitte Fontaine, delirious and acid... It reveals affinities between romantic melancholy and Blues, conjugates in an untimely and creative musical gesture two modernities which fertilized the twentieth century.

They invite the saxophonist Raphaël Imbert, spiritual and unclassifiable saxophonist.
