New York artists Neel Murgai (sitar/effects) and Indofunk Satish (trumpet/effects) are members of Brooklyn Raga Massive. They offer a psychedelic raga jazz that takes root in Hindustani music but grows in the New York jungle. They perform original music and improvisations, based on classic Indian raga but also reinterpretations of classics by Ravi Shankar, Funkadelic, The Beatles and more. For their exceptional visit to Paris, they called on bassist Thomas Julienne (Theorem of Joy - Claude - Orchid) and drummer Jean Baptiste Loutte (Julian Leprince-Caetano 5tet - Crafting 5tet). Guest of this concert: Swathi Ragavan singer of Carnatic music spotted with maïdo project in particular. A colorful concert not to be missed!
