Jean-Marie Ecay Trio

Sideman of the greatest (Billy Cobham, Gino Vanelli, Didier Lockwood, Janik Top/Eric Lelann, Richard Galliano…), Jean-Marie Ecay returns for 2 concerts with the trio with whom he recorded two CDs “Gemini mode” in 2014 and "Hamaika" in 2017. His two longtime accomplices whom he had met with Lockwood are none other than Jean-Michel Charbonnel on double bass, sideman of Billy Cobham, Didier Lockwood, Carine Bonnefoy, and André Charlier on drums, co -musician of the famous duo Charlier-Sourisse. This concert is an opportunity to meet again, after a long period without playing together: interaction, swing, freedom of improvisation in the service of beautiful melodies, these are the key words of this reunion. A mix of compositions and standards to get carried away by their groove, their virtuosity and their inimitable jazz-colored touch!
