In 2015, Speranza Galez (singer and producer) met Nicolàs Ruiz (guitarist, arranger and composer) at the University of the Arts of Venezuela where their first idea was born; that of a fusion between Venezuelan music and the language of jazz. She was lulled by the music of her childhood and her culture, she discovered Ella Fitzerald for whom she fell in admiration and began to study jazz vocal performance. He is guided by music with jazz as a starting point. Influenced by all sounds, he composes a lively and inspiring music. By uniting guitar and voice and accompanying other musicians, they create a music with the harmonic richness of jazz and different elements of world music.

A few days before the #CaribéennesDeMai, the young musicians, in addition to traditional Venezuelan music, will have fun fusing famous pieces from all over Latin America and the Caribbean, accompanied as is customary in the Néo Métissage project by Yannick Benoit on saxophone, Nicolas Fleury on double bass and Mailo Rakotonanahary on drums. Calor !

Created in 2012, the #JazzFromTomorrow program has given birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experiment on stage, to develop a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and promising niche where creativity and emulsion have no limits. #BeCurious!
