Tribute To Wayne Shorter

We have lost a giant. Wayne Shorter was one of the greatest saxophonists of our time. He was also an exceptional composer. He wrote timeless themes for his own bands, for Art Bakey and the Jazz Messengers, for Miles Davis' second quintet and for Weather Report, of which he was co-leader. After having tinged his jazz with electricity and electronics, he has returned to the acoustic quartet since 2001, proposing music that is always inspired, moving, poetic and singular.

Jacques Vidal (double bass and musical direction) and saxophonist Eric Barret will play his most striking themes, with pianist Olivier Hutman and drummer Philippe Soirat.
