"Clément Trimouille is my first jazz buddy. He was the first musician I met who was interested in jazz, when I was about 20 years old. We realized that we came from the same area in the Val-de-Marne (Maisons-Alfort/Ville) and since then we haven't left each other. He joined me in New York in 2015 where we scoured the jazz clubs, then in 2016 we created with other friends the Zoot Collective. We'll have a lot of fun getting back to that duo formula, remembering our early days in our respective rooms at each other's houses, trying to learn new standards and playing them together. Will it be better 11 years later? We'll see!"
