"Robinson and I share common artistic interests. We both learned classical/lyrical music at a high level, and then we became very interested in a lot of traditional world music while evolving on a jazz scene. For this first meeting as a duo, it will be very colorful as we will draw from the music of Bach, Purcell or even Britten through Cape Verdean, Georgian songs or our own composition.
