Norig Balkan Songs

For the first of a long series, we hope, Chez Georges offers a musical program on the theme of Balkan / Gypsy / Klezmer music, two Wednesdays a month.

Chez Georges is a very nice wine bar on rue des canettes, with a magnificent vaulted cellar in the basement, ideal for concerts!

A solar figure of Balkan gypsy singing, the singer Norig has been dancing her fiery voice for two decades on festival stages.

Revealed by filmmaker Tony Gatlif and welcomed on the stages of the great names of gypsy music such as Stochelo Rosenberg or Bireli Lagrene, Norig fell in love with the cry of a people that echoes his soul.
