Jacques Vidal Invite Robin Mansanti

Jacques Vidal invites Robin Mansanti, singer and trumpet player, and guitarist Gilles Clément.  The programme will include compositions by Jacques Vidal: Reflet, for which the singer Yun Sun Nah wrote the lyrics; Jaco, a tribute to Jaco Pastorius (lyrics by Isabelle Carpentier) and many others.

There will also be standards by Wes Montgomery (Gilles Clément, like Wes, has the particularity of playing without a pick), by Cole Porter, by Jerome Kern, by Gershwin... Robin Mansanti, on the other hand, brings Chet Baker's touching personality to life like no other, with, among other things, My Funny Valentine, the American trumpeter's favourite piece.

The formula will be without piano, but the faithful and indispensable Philippe Soirat will be on drums.
