Clément Merienne Presents Fata Morgana

Clément Merienne stands out for his constant quest for openness and his desire to break down stylistic barriers, notably through the use of prepared piano and electronic music. For this original project, he takes us on a veritable "Fata Morgana", a visual experience born of captivating mirages. With his sextet, he transforms indie pop songs using unique instrumentation, blending jazz and alternative pop. Their songs feature influences from early to contemporary music, while focusing on simple melodies and delicate lyrics inspired by Anglo-Saxon poetry.

Clément draws inspiration from renowned musicians such as Benoit Delbecq, Fred Hersch and the group Octurn, and also explores Indian, Gnawa and Bulgarian sounds... Dive into his exciting universe and let yourself be transported by his creativity and musical talent!
