A world-renowned virtuoso of the 6- and 12-string acoustic guitar, Jimmy Robinson is one of the most captivating soloists for his power and velocity! His concerts are a marvelous blend of jazz, fusion, classical, blues and folk, all the while incorporating surprising techniques that are uniquely his own. A native of New Orleans and a product of the psychedelic rock/blues scene of the 1960s, Jimmy Robinson has opened for John McLaughlin And Mahavishnu Orchestra, Chick Corea's Elektrik Band, Jeff Beck, John Mayall, Billy Cobham and others.

Today, he combines his classical education from Loyola University in New Orleans and the Eastman School of Music in New York with his electric experience to forge the acoustic solo style with which he now tours all over Europe.
