After travelling extensively on tour as a sideman, Hugo Afettouche has decided to put down his suitcases and recount his adventures. From the souk of Marrakech to an overexcited India, via Israel or Serbia, your ears and your imagination will be in the hands of TetraLyre.
Thomas Braganti on bass, Allister Thepault on keyboards and vocals, and Maxime Aigon on drums are the musicians who join Hugo Afettouche (saxophone, composition) to form "Tetralyre" for this project, whose name refers to a curious species of bird.
Digital keyboards modulate and distort tones in search of new openings and sound dynamics. Saxophone and bass, enhanced by effects pedals, tint a colorful soundscape, accompanied by a vibrantly plucked physical rhythm section.
This bath of electric harmonies illustrates landscapes that invite immersion in unusual territories. "Hugo Afettouche & Tetralyre" is a tale of memories which, in the eyes of the narrators, is full of surprises, humor and, above all, groove.
Maxime Aigon: drums
Allister Thepault: keyboards, vocals
Hugo Afettouche: tenor saxophone, effects
