A saxophonist, composer and improviser, Rémi Fox is a graduate of the CNSMD in Paris and co-founder of the Collectif Loo, a new generation of artist-researchers committed to resolutely contemporary music. Rémi Fox has formed several groups and developed various artistic projects with musicians from the European contemporary, jazz, improvised and electronic scenes. He enjoys confronting his music with other art forms. This desire has given rise to several creations involving theater, dance, video and the technological and digital arts. A long-time collaborator with Gérard Assayag's Représentations Musicales team, he and Jérôme Nika form the duo "C'est pour ça", whose latest pieces were presented in the "C'est pour quoi" installation at Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporain in 2020. In 2019 and 2020, Rémi Fox is artist-in-residence at Cité Musicale-Metz with his ensemble nOx.3 & Linda Oláh to create and record "MiMo", an immersive and dispersive multimedia show.
