Nina Gat & Christelle Raquillet

Having met in "Era #P" (Elie Martin-Charrière), Christelle Raquillet and Nina Gat began playing as a duo during a carte blanche offered by the Zoot Collectif as part of the "Zoot Underground" concerts.

With an eclectic repertoire ranging from folk songs to storytelling, the duo express their fresh, elegant musicality through compositions, covers and arrangements.

The duo's intimate formation allows them to weave a listening and sensitivity to sounds and textures. The various instruments (piano, transverse flute, alto flute), harmonized voices and blending of timbres create a rich and complete palette of sound. Virtuoso improvisations enliven this multi-faceted universe, with harmony that is at times minimalist, at others complex and precise.
