Jam Session - "Blue Note" Jazz Standards Time

Ludovic De Preissac's wide-ranging musical universe is nurtured by a variety of influences, with an emphasis on Latin music (Bossa nova, Latin jazz), but always rooted in the jazz tradition to which he remains faithful. As a trio, the pianist offers two evenings dedicated to the great hours of the "Blue Note" spirit of the 1950s/60s. Compositions by Horace Silver, Benny Golson and the "Jazz Messengers", who left their musical mark on all musicians of future generations, set the ball rolling for these jams! Accompanied by a rhythm section as efficient as it is jubilant, these two evenings of sharing will undoubtedly give way to surprising encounters.

More than just a concert, a jam session is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians and see them have a blast improvising together in complete freedom. But you don't need to play an instrument to take part in this very special moment, and enjoy the very special energy of these open stages. The public, beginners, amateurs, professionals, young and old... Everyone is welcome to come and measure themselves against the best and tackle these musical jousts that leave no one indifferent!

Every evening, a one-hour concert sets the scene for the evening, before the JAM takes us through the night, mixing yesterday's classics with today's trends.
