Jam Session - Tribute To Elis Regina

Caloé explores Brazilian music... Antonio Carlos Jobim and Elis Régina recorded the 1974 album Elis & Tom, often considered one of the best bossa nova albums of all time. His distinctive voice earned him the nicknames "Hurricane" and "Little Chili Pepper". Like many artists of her time, she often criticized Brazil's dictatorial political regime, but unlike others who had to go into exile, Elis escaped imprisonment thanks to her popularity. We continue to enjoy the beach on the quays, the terraces and the special atmosphere of August in Paris, and end the day on rue des Lombards to enjoy the warmth of Rio's beaches.

With 45 concerts and the participation of a host of jameurs, experience the unforgettable jam session whether you're into fusion, free jazz, funk or even pop... there's something for everyone!

More than just a concert, a jam session is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians and see them have a blast improvising together in complete freedom. But you don't need to play an instrument to take part in this very special moment, and enjoy the very special energy of these open stages. The public, beginners, amateurs, professionals, young and old... Everyone is welcome to come and measure themselves against the best and tackle these musical jousts that leave no one indifferent!

Every evening, a one-hour concert sets the scene for the evening, before the JAM takes us through the night, mixing yesterday's classics with today's trends.
