Jam Session In Tribute To Corry Denguemo (Macase)

A Wikidrummers revelation, Dharil Esso, drummer and son of musicians, has already attracted the attention of such big names as Etienne Mbappé, Alune Wade and Ray Lema. Every time he performs, he's sure not to go unnoticed, knowing how to subtly blend Afro grooves, funk and rock... For these two days of jamming, the drummer pays tribute to his mother, Corry Denguemo, lead singer of the group Macase, with whom she won several awards, including the "Prix découvertes RFI Musiques du monde" in 2001.

Her music is based on the traditional rhythms of central Cameroon. In her lyrics, she tells the stories of those who have no voice and seek by all means to be heard. Her talent and passion for music will remain engraved in the memory of African music!

Every evening, a one-hour concert sets the scene for the evening, before the JAM takes us through the night, mixing yesterday's classics with today's trends.
