Jam Session - Total Improvisation

François Constantin has been hosting jam sessions at Baiser Salé for over thirty years, inviting the entire French jazz scene to perform alongside him, and making the Jam du Lundi a weekly rendez-vous for music fans and an internationally renowned institution.
As part of the Festival Estival de Jam, and accompanied by his loyal companions, he invites us to a jam of total improvisation, where the rhythms and sounds of different instruments create a unique sound! Drawing on the fathers of improvisation, such as Coltrane and The Meters, the percussionist invites musicians ready to confront each other in musical jousts! Balthazar Naturel on saxophone, Daniel Romeo on bass and Roger Biwandu share their improvisational talents for the duration of the concert, followed by a jam session.
Whether you're a jazz enthusiast, a fan of good humor or a musician in search of new emotions, don't hesitate! Talent, discovery and energy are guaranteed!

More than just a concert, a jam session is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians and see them have a blast improvising together in complete freedom. But you don't need to play an instrument to take part in this very special moment, and enjoy the very special energy of these open stages. The public, beginners, amateurs, professionals, young and old... Everyone is welcome to come and measure themselves against the best and tackle these musical jousts that leave no one indifferent!

Every evening, a one-hour concert sets the scene for the evening, before the JAM takes us through the night, mixing yesterday's classics with today's trends.
