Jam Session - Tribute To Claude Nougaro

An undisputed master of words and music, Claude Nougaro burst onto the French music scene in the 60s.  The "Little Bull", as he was affectionately known, had two passions: jazz and Toulouse, his hometown. From jazz to java, the "Nougayork" author was a complete artist with a powerful voice. A pioneer of world music, with his early Brazilian influences, he remains an eternally curious singer, open to creation, who has worked hard throughout his career to mix genres, uniting French chanson, poetry and rhythm.

Caloé's voice is recognizable from the very first notes, with a freshness, spontaneity, lively spirit and love of play and freedom! She sings, scats, loves to juggle with words, and will make Nougaro's repertoire her playground and yours.

From July 27 to September 11, the #FestivalEstivalDeJam #17 welcomes 200 musicians to spend a memorable summer with you at the Baiser Salé!

With 45 concerts and the participation of numerous jammers, experience the unforgettable jam session whether you're into fusion, free jazz, funk or even pop... there's something for everyone!

More than just a concert, a jam session is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians and see them have a blast improvising together in complete freedom. But you don't need to play an instrument to take part in this very special moment, and enjoy the very special energy of these open stages. The public, beginners, amateurs, professionals, young and old... Everyone is welcome to come and measure themselves against the best and tackle these musical jousts that leave no one indifferent!

Every evening, a one-hour concert sets the scene for the evening, before the JAM takes us through the night, mixing yesterday's classics with today's trends.
