Antoine Laudière Quartet

With solid experience as an arranger and sideman for numerous groups, Antoine Laudière multiplies encounters and musical styles (jazz, funk, hip-hop, gypsy jazz, Eastern music, songs). For this second year of the #JazzDeDemain residency, he offers an original repertoire inspired by the music and playing of musicians based in New York such as Gilad Hekselman, Ben Wendel and Bill Frisell. Created in 2012, #JazzDeDemain gave birth to a series of residencies, allowing artists to experience the stage and explore a repertoire. #BeCurious!

Guitarist and arranger in numerous groups, he also composes for his Trio. Today, the musicians perform as a quartet, inviting the saxophonist Illyes Ferfera, a musician with very eclectic sounds and tastes. The opportunity to reinvent himself, offering melodic, inventive music and placing improvisation at the heart of his compositions.
