Rich in a close bond since their young age, Léo and Jules Jassef continue their already fruitful collaboration by offering an atypical duo and explore numerous languages together, mixing their compositions with those of their illustrious elders to create this program as varied as it is coherent , where freedom and improvisation hold a preponderant place. Without ever losing sight of fluidity, they move from softness to harshness without fear of abrupt transitions and have fun with the timbres of their two instruments which then seem to form one. Their mutual knowledge and their common inspirations create this new innovative paste which invites us more than ever to delve into sounds that we could almost already describe as “Jassefian”." Trumpeter and composer, Jules Jassef presents his music during his #JazzDeDemain residency. Surrounded by his musician friends, he offers intimate music, made up of simple melodies and ideas. Of a time that expands and contracts during which young musicians engage in a game of musical interactions. Growing up in the Gers, Jules Jassef began playing jazz at the Collège de Marciac. After studying at the CNSM in Paris and the Manhattan School of Music in New York, we heard influences from Dave Douglas, Ingrid Jensen and Miles Davis. Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain niche gave birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experience the stage, to explore a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and promising niche where creativity and emulsion have no limits. #BeCurious! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv8lLMwiNfk
