Hailed by critics as the only real successor to Toots Thielemans, Ker Ourio is not only a much sought-after soloist Alexandre Desplat, Jean-Claude Petit, Sylvain Luc, Marcel Azzola, Michel Legrand, Didier Lockwood, Danyel Waro…) but also a brilliant inspired composer and leader. Expressive and warm, his music favors emotion and goes straight from the heart. In his eleven albums recorded to date, his compositions reveal a poetic world inhabited by lyrical melodies, inventive harmonies and unusual rhythms. And to accompany him, a shock team with the remarkable technicality of the former Cap'tain Mercier, Nilda Fernandez..., Gilles Coquard. From the “young talented pianist who has a lot of taste, a sense of swing, and the culture of standards” (Eric Reed), Bastien Brison, and drummer Arnaud Dolmen, winner of the 2022 Victoires du Jazz in the “Revelation” category. Since the 90s, the Mondays of the Baiser Salé have been the scene of improvised and generous evenings where all of Paris of all jazz meets and meets again. The high-perched club on rue des Lombards no longer counts the moments of magic, encounters and discoveries that have marked these three decades. Generosity, experience, energy and talent guarantee the incomparable atmosphere of Monday night jams. Musicians in search of emotions, don't hesitate, the Baiser Salé jam is "The Place To be"!
