Naïssam Jalal "Healing Rituals" - Charles Cros Academy Prize in 2017, winner of the Victoires du Jazz in 2019…  Naïssam Jalal reveals a personal and vibrant musical universe which, both in substance and in form, gives full meaning to the word freedom.

From rap to contemporary jazz, including tango and afrobeat, Naïssam Jalal shines with his ability to weave links between different musical cultures. We found her alongside the cream of African musicians, the Parisian scene or the big names in French and international jazz, Arab music and numerous rappers.
Commitment through and in music: this is the guiding principle of his multiple projects which have never ceased to surprise thanks to their originality, their authenticity and their artistic qualities.
With Healing Rituals, a quartet formation close to chamber music, Naïssam Jalal has imagined and composed eight healing rituals linked to the elements of nature. Rituals that “respond to the three imperatives of the body in pain: silence, trance and beauty. Silence for peace. Trance to forget pain and anguish. The beauty that the spirit needs to nourish itself with to find hope and the desire to live in the face of the ugliness of the suffering body. »
“Naïssam Jalal keeps the faith and connects the breath – human, divine – to the elements. » Louis-Julien Nicolaou, Télérama (April 2023)
