Born In 1990, Musina grew up in Strasbourg and began playing saxophone at the age of 8. After studying at the CRR in Strasbourg in the Jazz class between 2008 and 2012, he entered the Jazz Institute in Berlin in 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Jazz in 2017 and a Master in Composition in 2019.
Inspired by the Berlin jazz scene, he regularly performs there from 2014 alongside renowned musicians. Musina won second prize at the International Jazz Composition Competition in Katowice in 2018. His debut album, “Timeprints”, was released in August 2019 on the German label Double Moon, in the New Talents series of the prestigious Jazzthing magazine. The album was nominated for the Deutsche Jazz Preis 2021.
Musina moved to Paris in 2019, where he plays and performs regularly in the clubs of the capital in different formations. His second quintet album “Engrams” was released in March 2023 on the Jazzdor Series Label and was acclaimed by critics. He plays and tours regularly in Europe as a sideman and leader.
