Loan Buathier Group

A multi-faceted guitarist, Loan Buathier is part of the new young generation of French jazz. Playing in clubs such as Sunset-Sunside as well as venues such as Pleyel, he has recently appeared alongside The Amazing Keystone Big Band and L'Orchestre National de Jazz. After much reflection, Loan Buathier chose the quintet to build his own project. The quintet proved to be a veritable playground for improvisation, exploration and composition. The resulting sound is deeply rooted in jazz tradition, inspired by the new New York scene, while taking the listener on an emotional journey. At times danceable, at times intimate, the space the musicians leave each other allows us to hear each other's poetry and virtuosity.
