The intensity of Zsuzsanna's stateless and nomadic folk is, on this new opus, exclusively sung in English. After a repertoire of Eastern European songs, the Hungarian-born singer's desire for a universal resonance to her words is what inspires her; her intense Slavic sensitivity, however, still resonates. Infused with rock and a halo of melancholy, "A Place Called Love" is a collection of delicate love songs, letters of revolt sent into the void, expressing the desire for a refuge, a place of love and tenderness, in the face of the infinite brutality of our world.
