At Baiser Salé we know François Constantin and his jams for thirty years, so suffice to say that he invited the entire French jazz scene to perform alongside him! He has made this weekly event an internationally known institution.
Lyle Mays was best known for his work with the Pat Metheny Group. He has played with Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Earth Wind & Fire, Bobby McFerrin, David Bowie, Noa and a multitude of jazz musicians including Toots Thielemans, John Scofield, Jaco Pastorius, Bill Frisell, Michael Brecker, Joshua Redman, Marc Johnson, Christian McBride, Jack De Johnette, Steve Swallow, Mark Isham, Eberhard Weber or Terence Blanchard. With Gregory Ott’s deep and captivating piano playing, the flawless energy of bassist Ranto An'i Avo Rakotomalala on bass and the sense of groove and the striking sound of Archibald Ligonnière on drums, the tribute to this great musician can only be a treat for lovers of jazz, rock and electronic music!
