Carl Henri Morisset 4Tet

This new quartet gathers around the compositions of Carl Henri Morisset, reflecting his roots and influences from konpa (Haitian music) to jazz and soul. Bringing together musicians with a wide range of influences, this quartet draws on the essence of traditional music to extract the most powerful and uplifting sounds. Each musician responds and joins forces around jazz/soul compositions and Great Black Music. Carl Henri Morisset is joined by bassist Juan Villaroel, saxophonist Mounir Sefsouf and drummer Théo Moutou. It's a journey around jazz, passing through all the multiple influences of the band members.
