Best known for her famous "Fever", one of the greatest hits of vocal jazz, Peggy Lee recorded over 1,000 other songs and composed over 250 of her own. An admirable performer with a velvety tone and impeccable swing, she cultivated an elegant style tinged with great sensitivity, which continues to inspire artists such as Paul McCartney, Madonna, Beyoncé, Diana Krall and Billie Eilish.
Come and (re)discover the often overlooked work of one of the major figures of 20th-century American vocal jazz, performed with humor and generosity by Marie Livingstone, accompanied by the virtuoso piano of Kellian Camus, the solid double bass of Thomas Posner and the flawless swing of Germain Cornet on drums.
