Riitta Paakki Quartet

Made in Scandinavia is a Paris-based all-star collective of five Scandinavian jazz musicians: Norwegian Petter Wettre, Dane Malte Arndal and Swedes Joel Lyssarides, Björn Ingelstam and Viktor Nyberg.

Riitta Paakki is one of the most important musicians on the Finnish jazz scene. She has had a long and productive career, with 15 albums to her name. She received her doctorate from the Sibelius Academy in 2016, where she also works as a piano teacher.

Riitta's music is pure swing, melodic, with that famous Scandinavian melancholy.
